Custom LASER ENGRAVING

The perfect compliment to your Oliver & Ash Designs collar, harness, or leash! Our nameplates are made from the same amazing material - biothane - and laser engraved with your dog's name and/or phone number! Because your dog's information is engraved directly into the material (not printed or vinyl transfer), it can't rub off. You can choose to have your information engraved directly onto the item itself, or onto a nameplate that will be riveted on to your item.

How it works: Your information will be printed onto your collar/leash/harness or onto a nameplate (you can choose any color to match or compliment your collar) that will be riveted to your item. The length of the engraving depends on your dog’s name and the font chosen. You can order an engraving in the same width as your item (1/2” engraving on a 1/2” collar) or a smaller engraving on a wider item (1/2” engraving/nameplate on a 5/8” wide collar. etc.).

I WILL SEND YOU A PROOF OF YOUR ENGRAVING FOR APPROVAL! I will not move forward with your order until I have gotten confirmation that you have viewed and approved the proof. You’ll enter the best way for me to contact you once you add the engraving to your cart.

BOLD/THICKER fonts are much easier to read, especially on 1/2" and 5/8" nameplates. Lightweight/Script fonts (such as Madina Script or Faith and Glory) will be more difficult to read.

Engravings appear most black on our Browns, Black, and Olive. As you can see from the example chart, each biothane color looks slightly different when engraved. Although the engraving are permanent, the dark appearance may fade over time. You can always fill your engraving in with a pen if you prefer a dark, black look!

“Regular” style - your pet’s name alone (one line of text) or with a phone number (two lines of text). Name and number are centered over each other. Can be put on a nameplate or engraved directly onto the collar. You can still have your pet’s name printed in large bold fonts!

“Big & Bold” style - your pet’s name and phone number printed in a straight line (one line of text). Not available as a nameplate - only comes printed directly onto the collar. Our 3/8” collars are only available to use Big & Bold style - the material is not wide enough to do name over phone number.

If you choose a nameplate (as opposed to direct engraving) here are your rivet hardware options:
Stainless Steel – the ultimate in tough
Solid Brass – may patina over time, will not chip or rust, may leave gray marks on light-colored fur
Matte Black – extra durable PVD finish, resists chipping and scratching, but may wear off over time

All cut ends are finished with BioSeal - a pet-safe, non-toxic sealant that bonds the interior webbing together - which prevents fluid absorption into the interior webbing and prevents fraying!
